Testo I.S. is accepted as a member in the DKD

At the beginning of this year Testo Industrial Services was accepted as a full member of the DKD (German Calibration Service). Since the DKD has been transformed into the DAkkS (German accreditation body GmbH) in the end of 2009, its main tasks have turned from administrative issues to issues with regard to content. Until then the DKD was responsible for the accreditation of calibration laboratories nationwide. In its new role the DKD as a body of the PTB (Physical and Technical Federal Institute) does preliminary work for the DAkkS by way of various committees. In these committees the heads of the DKD calibration laboratories develop guidelines for the calibration of different measuring parameters. In this way it´s possible for calibration service providers as Testo Industrial Services to configure actively the basics of the work of DAkkS.
